Lindale Man Killed by Drunk Driver

An East Texas man is looking at a long prison term after killing a man in an automobile wreck.  Benjamin Capps, who is only 28 years old, was charged with his 3rd D.W.I. when he crashed head on killing another driver.  The collision occurred on Highway 80 in Longview, Texas.  The head on collision killed John Pinter, 74, of Lindale, Texas.

2 Dead and 1 Injured in Houston Crash

An automobile collision in Houston, Texas resulted in two deaths and one person hospitalized.  The crash happened at Veterans Memorial Drive.  The driver of a 2004 Mitsubishi ran a red light striking a Toyota Highlander.  The Harris County Sheriff’s Department investigated the wreck and determined that the negligent driver was traveling more than 100 miles per hour and hit a brick wall after striking the truck.  The driver and occupant of the Mitsubishi were both killed.

Houston Fire Captain Loses His Daughter in Auto Collision

The daughter of a Cy-Fair fire captain was tragically killed in an automobile collision on Highway 6 in Houston, Texas.  The daughter was heading for Whataburger when a truck without its headlights on struck her vehicle.

The preliminary investigation of the T-bone collision indicates the pickup driver was drunk.  A Harris County district attorney was on the scene evaluating the case for DWI charges.  The on scene investigation indicated the driver was intoxicated.
