Industrial Accident in Pasadena, TX
Tuesday, February 16th, 2010A chemical leak due to an industrial accident has recently occurred in Pasadena, Texas at 5:15pm today at the AirProducts chemical plant. Pasadena officials have called for a “shelter in place” due to this chemical leak at an industrial facility.
The area under this shelter in place is the area between Hwy 225 and Bearle Road. Emergency official say that this industrial accident has released an unknown amount of nitric oxide into the air. The chemical could cause serious problems with heating and cooling systems in homes and businesses therefore all systems should be shut down. Nitric Oxide can also cause acute respiratory issues.
