Tuesday morning, a large bus crashed, fatally wounding at two passengers, and critically injuring at least 11 others. This transport bus accident occurred just south of San Antonio on I-37. The bus is owned by a subsidiary of Greyhound Bus Lines.

The driver of the bus recalled a large pop just prior to the bus lurching off the freeway, head first into a ditch, ejected many, pinning passengers, and tossing those inside the bus from one side to the other. A broken drive shaft is suspected, and investigations are further pending. According to records, the bus has been properly maintained, properly inspected, and no issues have been reported.
