Monday, September 13th, 2010US regulators are investigating Ford Motor Company’s F-150 pick up trucks per the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. The investigation surrounds the straps that attach the fuel tanks. These straps may rust and break. Approximately 1.4 million trucks from 1997 to 2001 model years are involved in the investigation and may be affected. 28 complaints have been filed for detached or dragging straps. No crashes, injuries or fires have been reported to date.
